THE AWAKENING OF SPRING

The at least ten thousand bulbs that we have planted here with the help of friends always start to awake in December. So that we can already look forward to the fragrant and other types of snowdrops, the grape hyacinths, the cheerful yellow-orange and purple crocuses, all kinds of daffodils – including the poet’s daffodil, which only flowers in May – the graceful lily of valleys, with its superior scent, the hyacinths and the botanical and ordinary tulips. In December, while the snapdragons are still in bloom, a colorful spring is already announcing itself.

Come and visit us and enjoy the splendor of all these different bulbs, our hospitality and this beautiful region. Take wonderful spring walks, immerse yourself in a book, take a small walk each morning to see the flowering bulbs, or visit a town, museum or concert.

If you rent one of our gîtes for a week in the period from mid-January to early April, we invite you to have a colorful four-course dinner one evening in the large salon of the main house. At the wood stove, with a nice bottle of wine.
